Angelo spent his early years in the hospitality industry, which honed his skills in people management and public relations, before spending the next 24 years in progressive roles in the solar industry representing some of the top blue-chip conglomerates. With his vast experience in solar PV, solar thermal and related sectors and considered a pioneer in the industry, he has won many awards over his long career and is certified in health safety & environment (HS&E) by BP Australia. He has been instrumental in launching many endeavors in creating practices and governance models for the solar industry in Srilanka. During his long stint in the industry, he has conceptualized, incorporated and launched leading brands and was the key figure in developing a number of groundbreaking projects in SriLankan and overseas markets. The wealth of knowledge and understanding he has in renewables along with a steadfast belief & conviction on the future energies’ role in the in the world at large, has led him to founding of BlueSkye International.

Chris Chandiram is an MBA graduate from the University of Strathclyde in the UK with a professional background in strategic management, key account management and project management in Sri Lanka and overseas. Having worked for ten years in the Middle East exposed Chris to many cultures and working practices that has been useful to develop a sound career in management and leadership thinking. Multiple roles in business and project management have moulded Chris towards special skills in leading and managing large projects, strategic planning, crisis management, stakeholder management, problem solving, proactive thinking and achieving results in a competitive environment. He has proven his mettle time and time again, setting up companies and achieving positive results quickly with a strong work ethic, respect to the stakeholder and love for the environment. Those beliefs have been rooted in the vision of BlueSkye International and the foundation of its business strategy.
